Job Description

Food Process / Production Workers Wanted.

Essential Requirements:

·Own car or motorbike to get to work location in the countryside.

·Food production, or food processing experience.

If you have any additional food machine operating experience, then this would be preferred.

Full-time, Temporary to Permanent

8-Hour shifts / 40-Hours Per Week Minimum / 5 Days Per Week.

Rotating Weekly Shift Patterns Monday to Friday, (you must be able to work all shift patterns listed below), shifts will be pre-agreed and diarised in weekly blocks:

  • Morning Shift – 6am to 2:15pm
  • Afternoon Shift – 2pm to 10:15pm
  • Night Shift – 10pm till 6:15am (Coming into effect in 2026)

Hourly Pay Rates for New Starters:

  • Morning Shift = £12.21
  • Afternoon Shift = £12.82 (inclusive of shift uplift)
  • Night Shift = £14.74 (inclusive of shift uplift)

Pay rates assessed and reviewed on successful completion of 12-week trial / probation period.

Once you are fully trained on production line set up, ingredient management (weights and measures), and conveyor belt production, you will be able to support the afternoon shift with production machine operating at an increase hourly pay rate.

The role involves physical and manual tasks (lifting up to 25KG), using Pallett Trucks, delivering products to each station in the food production process, supporting a conveyor belt, working on a production line, stacking products, unloading, loading, ensuring correct products are brought from the warehouse to the production line, so that production targets can be met, ready for distribution to clients.

Those who successfully prove they are reliable, able, and competent will receive additional financial benefits through pay reviews and promotion.

Due to the rural location outside of Winchester, working hours, and lack of any reliable public transport links, you will need your own car, motorbike, scooter. If you live locally then you can travel 20-minutes by bike to get to and from work every day, but it will be up and down dark country roads in all weather conditions.

Essential Requirements:

  • Fluent English (written and verbal) communication skills.
  • Understand weights and measures, written instructions, health and safety training.
  • Completed food handling certificates or food health and hygiene training.
  • Must be eligible to work a full-time permanent job in the UK, we cannot offer work visa sponsorship.
  • Physically fit, able to carry up to 25KG, walk up and downstairs or in-between and around machines, reach up to 2-meters high.
  • Must be able to wear PPE provided (no jewellery or piercings allowed to be worn in the factory due to the high level of hygiene requirements on site, and to reduce contamination or machine damage.
